Basic Life Support

Children’s first aid training is an empowering course that is designed to meet health and safety compliance for childcare workers and educational staff. Safeaid Services have been equipping people with the skills needed to respond to emergaeny situations involving infants, toddlers, and other children. Whatever your working environment involves, caring for children requires being prepared for accidents and emergencies. Our Emergency Paediatric course, Paediatric first aid, and our blended course option all cover the basics of first aid, the responsibility of a paediatric first aider and how to respond to emergencies such as choking, an unresponsive child, CPR and seizures.

Another key focus of paediatric training is injury prevention. Not only do we explore how to handle injuries and emergency health scenarios, but we also discuss the importance of preventing accidents and how to reinforce safety and awareness.

Children’s First Aid Training for Your Staff & Team

Paediatric First Aid Training also encourages teamwork and communication. Many activities involve working with partners, discussing scenarios, and practising responses together. These interactions build confidence, strengthen peer relationships, and cultivate empathy. We work with groups of staff from schools, nurseries, clubs and charities, careminders, sports clubs and more.

Many of our activities involve working in pairs or small groups, discussing realistic scenarios, and practising practical responses together. These exercises encourage open communication, reinforce shared responsibility, and help staff learn how to coordinate their actions calmly and efficiently during emergencies. Our training is typically set up and delivered in groups of 12 or fewer with the intention that all members have that all-important hands-on approach and time for questions or one-to-one teaching.

Remain Compliant with Children’s First Aid Training

Our courses’ main aim is to instil the significance of preventing accidents and how to respond confidently to emergencies; however, our training also provides important benefits for businesses and organisations in terms of compliance and regulatory requirements. Whether staff need to update their qualifications, meet statutory obligations, or ensure they hold the correct paediatric first aid certificates for their role, our courses are perfect for supporting your organisation’s compliance. Our courses are all Qualsafe approved and depending on the qualifications your group needs, we tailor our services around the scenarios you are more likely to experience in your line of work.

Children’s First Aid Training in Schools

If you’re looking for first aid training for students, then our courses are ideal for schools. We often find that secondary school students or college students enjoy our engaging skill-building sessions that teach them how to handle emergencies safely and effectively. Integrating first aid education into schools, youth groups, and community programs can have a long-lasting impact. Children who learn first aid often carry their skills into adulthood, becoming more safety-conscious and prepared individuals.

What a brilliant experience! Stu is very professional, and his knowledge is invaluable, he made us feel very welcome and relaxed, as all courses, they are very daunting at first! Leaving the course we have learnt so much and are confident in using our first aid skills when necessary. The course equipment varied and allowed us to practice on different scenarios to get a real life experience! Thank you Safeaid, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to train their employees!
