Why Only Regulated Courses
Why do we only offer Platinum Standard Regulated Qualifications?
We understand that choosing the right First Aid training provider is difficult the market has so many options and on initial assessment all providers offer first aid courses with similar titles so surely price is the only comparable. Right? Wrong! Not all providers offer the same level of training as Safeaid Services and often you are comparing products that are vastly different.
Safeaid Services only offers regulated awards for the legally required courses in the workplace including First Aid at Work and Paediatric First aid training.
The reason we do this is simple it is described as the Platinum standard, the best there is available and this ethos runs throughout our company. By undertaking our regulated first aid at work qualifications, employers can book our courses for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks. As our qualifications are regulated, you can rest assured that learners have achieved a certain standard of quality.
The qualifications that we provide have been designed by industry specialists with years of extensive industry experience, so you can be confident in the knowledge and understanding achieved by undertaking them. Employers across all sectors are choosing regulated qualifications for their staff, as they offer a quick and simple way to fulfil their responsibilities for providing high-quality training.
There is a vast difference between Regulated and Accredited training courses.

Regulated first aid courses are provided as standard by Safeaid Services and they are the only courses that we recommend.
Accredited courses can be done so by a company with little to no experience in the health services. regulated courses are backed by an awarding organisation that is monitored and backed by Ofqual are. (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation is a non-ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England and, until May 2016, vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland. Colloquially and publicly, Ofqual is often referred to as the exam “watchdog”.)
Our first aid courses are reviewed and approved by a medical review panel which makes them of a high quality and teaching standard. All content and wording is compiled by paramedics and heavily experienced healthcare professionals
We have both internal and external quality assurers. In addition to this should anything go wrong and one of their candidates do something that results in any sort of legal action they will have us as an AO behind them supporting them with our policies and processes.
Accredited providers offer no such support. Some providers even offer to upgrade to a regulated award at an additional cost. We believe it should be done right first time, every time. All course costs from us include Regulators qualification fees course certification packages and course training manuals, there are no hidden charges. Ever!
That little extra will give you the peace of mind that booking a course through a fully regulated and backed training provider like Safeaid Services will enable you to stand strong if the common occurrence of legal action been taken due to how they responded to an accident that involves first aid treatment.
We have even chosen the platinum standard of awarding bodies in Qualsafe Awards who are experts in the field of first aid they are the only Awarding organisation with a Clinical governance team and have a distinguished responsible body of medical opinion that review and support our material.
Most accredited centres have little or nowhere near the same level of experience we has in the health services. This gap can lead to a worrying or vast difference in the teaching quality and what is covered on each course. Safeaid Services spares no expense in high tech equipment and the most experienced teaching staff with vast hands on experience in dealing with accidents and emergencies which guarantees an immersive teaching experience.
